This is a set designed for to improve your kick threshold. Most of your speed/power in swimming comes from your kick. The longer you can maintain a steady kick, the faster your times will be. GUARANTEED!
Warm-Up (1000yd):
500 (200 swim, 50 kick)
500 pull (breathe every 3 going down, every 5 coming back)
Main Set (1300yd):
4x50 kick; 1:10min interval
200 pull
2x50 fast kick; 1:10min interval
200 pull
1x50 kick, race pace!
50 easy swim
500 sprint swim
Cool Down (300yd):
300 easy
